Website enquiries and quotation requests

When you email Doval or submit a quotation request, we may receive information such as your name, organisation, business contact details and the products, services or project requirements you ask us to quote. We use that information to respond, prepare quotations, manage the resulting customer or supplier relationship, and meet legitimate legal, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Quote basket and form processing

The AEC & Technology Store can keep product selections in your browser's local storage so that you can build a multi-line quotation request while browsing. Those basket selections remain on your device until you submit the quotation request or clear the basket. When you submit the quotation form, the information you enter and the selected quotation lines are sent to Doval Sales for review. The form does not take payment and does not itself create an order or contract. Doval does not intentionally publish quotation submissions on the website.

WhatsApp enquiries

If you choose to contact Doval through the website WhatsApp link, your browser will open WhatsApp, a service provided by Meta. Information you send through WhatsApp is processed through that service as well as by Doval for the purpose of responding to your enquiry. You can instead use the website quotation form or email if you prefer not to use WhatsApp.

Security and retention

Doval applies access controls, security measures and retention practices appropriate to the information and service involved. Information is retained only for the relevant business, legal, contractual or regulatory purpose.
